Tornado Warning

A tornado outbreak across the central United States on May 2–3 produced over 30 confirmed tornadoes across Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. The most powerful, an EF-3, touched down near Wichita and caused significant structural damage in several neighborhoods. Dramatic storm-chaser footage circulated widely on social media, and local authorities issued multiple emergency alerts. At least 4 fatalities were confirmed as of early May 3.
